Ridgmont Station Tea Rooms

I really love visiting tea rooms. This one in Ridgmont, Bedfordshire, didn’t disappoint. The tea rooms are a converted station building and are beautifully set- out, cosy and quaint. The food isn’t half- bad either! A lovely Easter Saturday treat 🙂

Polish Waffles

Birmingham has more canals than Venice and the rather lovely The Karczma, a Polish restaurant with traditional decor which wouldn’t look out of place in Southern Poland. I had these waffles: They also served a gorgeous tea with honey that could be added. The waffles were good but the tea was better :p

Vanilla Cheesecake

A lovely morning in Cambridge talking about books at a literary festival, followed by tea and vanilla cheesecake with friends- sounds like a perfect way to spend a Saturday in my opinion. Harriet’s Cafe and Tearooms, Cambridge
